Pay range:

$24.46 - $36.18

We are currently seeking a Health Unit Coordinator for our Progressive Cardiac Unit. The Health Unit Coordinator performs a variety of clerical, coordinating and communication activities to support unit operations.

This 36 bed unit has a patient populations that include open heart, post vascular surgeries, intermediate care and telemetry. The Progressive Cardiac Care Unit is also designated as the Stroke Unit. The Patient Care Technician provides direct patient care to patients and their families under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. 

Part time (.7 FTE - 56 hours bi-weekly)
8 hr shifts
DAYS (0615-1845)

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Prefer Health Unit Coordinator experience or experience in a related field
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and computer familiarity is preferred. EHR experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service, oral and written communication skills
