Pay range:

$27.74 - $44.46

40 hours per week/Full-time 8 hour shifts

Monday - Friday/ Days no weekends/holidays

$5,000 sign-on bonus for new hires

Overlake Medical Center and Clinics is seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant of Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Musculoskeletal Clinic in Issaquah. The practice specializes in coordinated care of muscular injuries, spine disorders, neurological injuries, migraine headaches, neck pain, and lower back pain. The clinic’s staff has a wide range of skills for the diagnosis and treatment of conditions, centered on the function the patient desires, whether it be to return to work, gain peak athletic performance, or manage a chronic pain condition.

Job responsibilities include greeting and preparing patients for the healthcare practitioner, obtaining vital signs, preparing patients for routine and specialty procedures, providing in-basket support, and documenting patient interactions via electronic medical record. This role includes about 50% administrative responsibilities.

Qualifications

Medical Assistant:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Graduate of a certified medical assistant program or previous military training/experience that satisfies Washington state standards required.
  • Medical Assistant Certification (MA-C) or Interim MA-C through WA State DOH required (the latter must obtain regular MA-C within 6-months of hire).
  • Current healthcare provider CPR certification required.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
  • Experience with EMR applications, EPIC preferred.

Licensed Practical Nurse:

  • Graduate of a licensed practical nurse program or previous military training/experience that satisfies Washington state standards required. 
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) through WA State DOH required.
  • Current healthcare provider CPR certification required.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
  • Experience with EMR applications, EPIC preferred.
  • One year of clinic experience preferred.
