Pay range:
$27.45 - $44.46Medical Coder (Non-Remote) - Bellevue, WA
In this role, you will support Overlake Medical Center & Clinics' Urgent Care, Primary Care, and Psychiatry clinics. You will be responsible for reviewing physician documentation, performing CPT coding and ICD-10CM coding, practice management edit maintenance and resolution, assisting with denial resolution, implementation of process improvements related to coding in order to optimize the revenue collections for the Clinic. You will coordinate and performs all computer related functions relative to the coding and abstracting system. You will also ensure data integrity for optimal and correct reimbursement, and run reports for special studies and departmental needs.
This position will begin full-time onsite in Bellevue, WA, with the opportunity to work remotely 3 days/week after probationary period.

Qualifications:
Education:
High school graduate or equivalent GED required.
Professional Licensure/Certification/Registration:
CPC, CPC-A, CCS-P or CCS is required.
Experience:
Requires minimum of one year of experience working in an ambulatory healthcare environment.
Experience with physician E&M coding and billing preferred.
Coding experience in an electronic health record environment highly preferred.
Previous experience with Epic EMR and practice management/billing modules preferred
