Pay range:

The Network Engineer is responsible for maintaining the networked environment to support the strategic direction of Overlake Hospital.  Also responsible for the delivery of high quality cost -effective data communication networks including hardware, software and consulting services to meet the business needs of Overlake departments, related properties and associated physicians.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Cisco Certified Network Administrator certification required.  If not certified, must obtain certification within six months of hire.  Cisco Certified Network Professional or Cisco Certified Network Engineer preferred.
• Minimum of five years experience in a multi-site networking environment required.
• Strong focus on IP routing, VOIP, and wireless protocols required.  Knowledge of Cisco load balancer, firewalls and all network components required.  Knowledge of network management tools including SNMP, Solar winds and network analysis tools preferred.  Knowledge of health care industry preferred.  Excellent customer service skills.

Posted pay ranges represent the entire pay scale, from minimum to maximum. For jobs with more than one level, the posted range reflects the minimum of the lowest level and the maximum of the highest level. Some positions also offer additional pay based on shift, certification or level of education. Job offers are determined based on a candidate's years of relevant experience and internal equity.
